Yale students and faculty also have access to more than 130 LGBT publications in scanned and searchable form through the Ebsco LGBT Life collection. The collection includes complete runs of the important early homophile magazines ONE, The Ladder, Mattachine Review, as well as later periodicals such as Christopher Street, Lesbian Tide, Body Politic, and Tangents.
The LGBT Life database is accessible to Yale-affiliated students, staff and faculty through the link above. Researchers can search for standard terms such as keyword, author, and subject term, and can choose to limit the date range of their results. By clicking the “Publications” tab at the top of the search page, researchers can also limit their searches to specific periodicals (unless this option is taken, all periodicals will be searched).
