Event description:

Recent years have witnessed an outpouring of provocative scholarship on the histories of sexuality and capitalism in the United States. What might we learn by bringing the two fields together? How have new works on the cultural and political dimensions of market formation changed how we think about sexual identity, relationality, expression, and regulation, and vice versa? Come join us for a symposium on the promises and perils of researching sexuality and capitalism together.
